I was born in Sarasota, Florida. I moved to Los Angeles, California in 2008, to Birmingham, Alabama in 2014, and then to Washington State in 2020.

I am fascinated with communicating with the moving image.

My favorite project I’ve made is a 7-minute documentary titled Magical Motion, which intertwines the stories of a rower, a dancer, and a drummer to explore how synchronized movement embodies an intrinsic connection.

Take the Picture and Best Behavior, were shot with a Bolex camera and edited on 16mm film. The former is a dream-like portrayal of a woman forcing her way out of an unpleasant job, while the latter shows the activities of a roguish woman with telekinetic powers.

I have directed and edited 12 short documentaries, covering a mix of live performances, one-on-one interviews, and observational footage. I’ve also written screenplays for two 6-minute films, two 12-minute films, and a 60-minute pilot.

I worked as a Production Assistant for director Sean Carter’s indie short film, Wake, in the summer of 2023.

As a musician, I’ve performed and recorded bass guitar with various bands and for student theater groups. Alongside this, I extensively studied South Indian Percussion in my formal education.
